We don't want used antifreeze in the ground water supply, in the oceans, or around for people, pets, other animals, or plants to die from exposure to it.

Small animals are attracted to the sweetness of antifreeze. Cats may walk in a spill and lick their feet. Any animal will lick spills on pavement and can be made ill or die. Take care of them!


Two ounces of ethylene glycol (antifreeze)can kill a dog, one teaspoon can kill a cat, two tablespoons a child, and three ounces can kill an adult.


Most used antifreeze is recycled into new coolant by distilling out metals, oil, salts, dissolved solids and adding new chemicals. So, you may be buying recycled antifreeze without even knowing it.
